Like medicine, good criticism can be a very hard thing to swallow. Version 1.0 of the site wasn't cutting it, and a few friends tried to let us in on the fact as gently as possible. And we're grateful they did. I've always thought that red and black look together, especially with a murder theme, and somehow the creative process lead us to it. The design started as a poster (for handing out at networking events) and later translated to a web site design. We're now very pleased to say that various clients have, without prompting of any sort, commented on what a great site it is. So you've got to be happy with that :o)
